Time is flying by..

I have been busy working on projects that I would like to finish before baby arrives. Home projects {painting the dining room...it's done and beautiful!}, hobbie catch up's {sewing, photography, photoshoping, scrapping...I have too many hobbies!!!} and spending as much time being a mommy of one with Makenna Claire. We have had so much fun together this summer..spending lots of time at the pool where she has certainly turned into quite the fish, picnic lunches at the park, weekly playdates and our daily painting time (she loves all my glitter glue!). She is such a sweet little girl but at the same time is at that age where she is testing Mommy and Daddy on a daily basis. With that, I just try and remind myself that this too shall pass!

Makenna Claire is getting ready to be a big sister and depending on the moment, she is excited or saids, "not ready yet!" :) Baby Case will make his or her debut on Aug 20th, a mere 3 weeks away!! We are all excited with anticipation and Scott and I can't wait to find out if we have another daughter or a son. Right now, we have different opinions but we both truely don't care one way or the other! Either way, we will be sooo thrilled!

Nana has been busy decorating MC's big girl room. She did a tryptic canvas painting and painted her name on canvas as well. It so makes Makenna's room the special place that it is! She is doing great sleeping in her bed and loves to hang out in her room as well. It's really too cute! Oh, and when she wakes up or when she leaves her room from playing, she always has to close the door behind her! Not sure where that habit came from, but it gives us all a chuckle. And upon your visit to the house, she might frisk you for your spare change because her piggy is always hungry!!

Enough type, here's some pictures of her bedroom artwork. Thank you Nana!! Sweet Pea admires it every day!! xoxo ( Ok, so the formatting didn't work...the pictures are above!)

Thanks Melissa! It was so much fun to do the artwork for Sweet Pea's room. She appreciates it too, which makes the experience so special.
