Baby Makenna Claire...it seems like yesterday!

As I get ready for my marathon scrapbook weekend, I am focusing on getting a few pages of Rylan completed (after all, he only has 3 pages so far!).  However, here's a look back at Makenna Claire's beginning...has it really been 3 years ALREADY?  So hard to believe.  I remember the emotion of the day as if it was yesterday.  I think it's something that will always stay with me.

The day my first baby was born.
The day I became a Momma.
The day my world became hers.
The day I will certainly always cherish, love and remember.

And now I am blessed with two healthy kiddos.  I feel so fortunate every day.

To you scrappers who like to scrapbook children (yours or otherwise), check out this blog.  Very cool!

Our Easter in snapshots

A busy but simple day.
Easter egg hunts, followed by eating too many treats
of m&m's and jelly beans.
Family gatherings.
Childhood glee.
Memories made &
Good Times!

Happy Easter.

Here's a flashback from last year..

I can only anticipate the magic tomorrow holds for us.
Makenna Claire was thrilled to see the Easter Bunny today and we spent some girl time baking cupcakes and coloring eggs.  She's very excited about the Easter bunny making a visit tomorrow.  I'm hoping she's not going to ask where he is..HA!  Wouldn't be surprised.
Among today's ?'s were..."does the easter bunny talk?"  and "where does the easter bunny live?"  And with that, the magical stories began.
Inquisitive minds and imaginative parents go hand in hand, right?
Have a wonderful day with your loved ones!  xo

Why I do what I do...

I scrapbook to..

Preserve memories.
Celebrate life.
Capture moments in time.
Fuel my passion for creativity.
Tell a story.
Document my family's lives.
Create a vehicle for my children to remember their childhood.
To show my family just how much they are loved.

And, really it all begins and ends with these three.
And for them, and selfishly myself, I scrapbook our stories.
