Sometimes, a visit with the jolly old man is not so JOLLY but very SCARY!  Poor Makenna Claire!!!  

LOVE this time of Year!!

The kiddos had so much fun playing while the grown ups were in the kitchen......

This past weekend Mom and I had so much fun hosting our annual Cookie Bake.  Filling the house with friends and family, baking cookies and sharing many laughs, stories and memories is always a great way to spend a day during this busy season.  

MC got in on the action, helping out with the decorating!
And at the end of the day, everyone took home a large variety of yummy goodness to share with others during the holidays.  Isn't that what it's all about??  Happy Holidays!!!!

Everybody has their quirks, even our animals

We are so fortunate to have two cute fuzzy puppies in Bailey and Cassidy.  Mom Jayhan has two more compact ones, Riley and Zoe.  Zoe is a couple of years old and has this little, ummm...habit when she comes in from outside.  

I've been trying to capture it on video for some time.  While taping tonight, Kelly thought I was recording Makenna.  Makenna does a lot of cute things, but this thing of Zoe's is just downright damn FUNNY.

And coupled with the chosen soundtrack, well, let's just say to stop and take a minute six seconds of your life to laugh your backside off.  I hope.

Christmas is in the air

Christmas has started to arrive at the Case House.  Makenna Claire is already enjoying the festive decorations and was a big help in putting up the tree.  She loves all the ornaments and thinks some of them are balls.  I guess she's right!  

We also watched some of our Christmas favorites this past weekend.  Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer....MC loved them and watched them with her full attention.  She had a wonderful seat too..

Whew..what a weekend!

We had a wonderful family weekend filled with fun times together.  It always just goes by too fast, doesn't it?  So much to be thankful for, and Thanksgiving is great reminder of what is really important in life.  

After enjoying the holiday with our loved ones, we spent the weekend shopping, cleaning out our basement and started to put up our Christmas decorations.  More pictures to come tomorrow!
